Fartlekking Across the Universe.....

That was the first session last night.

As part of a five and a half mile run around Wick we did six (yes only six! It's my first session remember!) intervals of one minute effort ( race pace ) - two minutes recovery........I found the last two very hard but I suppose they were going up George Street and Hill Avenue so shouldn't really moan.

I completed them which is the target at this precise moment.

Worked out our weekly training plan for running last night and have settled on Tues (speedwork), Wed (tempo), Thurs (hillwork)....that means I can pick up the slower longish run on a Saturday.

Sounds like a plan.
